‘David Orlowsky Trio & David Timm’

Noema 2.0 - Klezmer & organ

The David Orlowsky Trio is definitely not afraid of a challenge, particularly when it comes to combining the organ and klezmer music, its main priority! This clarinet/guitar/double bass trio of adventure seekers is quite used to performing together with musicians hailing from different backgrounds, covering a wide spectrum,  from the symphony orchestra to the Israeli mandolinist Avi Avital.  It remains to be seen whether these musicians will manage to get the 4,000 organ pipes going with a swing. The answer will be revealed with this concert in the Henry Le Bœuf Hall, in the company of David Timm, the German organist whose compositions include a jazz mass!
