Born in 1991, this young Russian pianist exploded onto the international scene at the Chopin Competition (where he won third prize) in 2010 and the Tchaikovsky competition, which he won in 2011. He is unquestionably one of the most talented pianists of his generation. His admirers include Martha Argerich, who has observed: "He has everything, and more. What he does with his hands is technically incredible… I have never heard anything like it." Trifonov – remember the name!
