‘Concert - Intersongs’

Intersongs is a project which encourages groups of amateur singers from Brussels with diverse socio-cultural backgrounds to sing together. In the course of a series of workshops, participants get to know one another by exchanging a song from their repertoire. In its own individual way, each group takes it in turn to immerse itself in other traditions and vocal practices before sharing their own. This vocal and human experience culminates in the creation of a collective repertoire which is shared in public in a number of concerts. The 5th edition of Intersongs brings together Voci di Molenbeek and Zilbanum - Les Enchanteuses in a brand new programme that is interspersed with testimonies from the participants.
