‘Combat de Pauvres’

The number of people living in deprivation is on the rise in Europe. The collapse of the middle classes, job insecurity, increasing flexibility demanded in the world of work and the progressive disappearance of certain professions are all contributing factors to this increase in poverty. Small business owners, students, the retired, single parent families, working people who have fallen off the career ladder, numerous sections of society are affected by this scourge and find themselves exposed while the safety net of social security only diminishes.
Combat de Pauvres examines this new social reality with humour and questions the type of society and solidarity we want to build for the future.
