Metropolitan natures

Coloco is a collective founded in 1999 by architects Pablo Georgieff, Nicolas Bonnenfant and the landscape architect Miguel Georgieff. Their projects focus on urban diversity and landscape and are often unusual and transdisciplinary. In his conference, Pablo Georgieff will explain how the firm deals with large scale projects, both by way of master plans on a metropolitan scale and participative workshops or very local interventions in the public space. He will demonstrate how small scale projects can also have an influence on large territories.
Coloco got involved in their first project in Brussels in 2008 when, alongside Gilles Clément, they created the stairway garden in the Model City. At the request of the Vlaams Bouwmeester they are now working on the metropolitan landscape on the outskirts of Brussels.
