‘Club Night | Vlek Records presents Marc Melià’

21 Sept.'24
- 22:00

For one night only, the Centre for Fine Arts will be transformed into a nightclub. Switch from one auditorium to another and curate your own musical experience at Club Night.

We leave no room unoccupied during Club Night. For instance, Henry Le Boeuf's bar will be taken up by Vlek records. The Brussels-based label has been releasing techno, electro, modern classical and house for almost 15 years with a heart for Belgian musicians. They help compatriots on the way across genres and borders. Marc Mélia, however, grew up with his feet in the seawater of Mallorca and his hands on the piano. Meanwhile, Mélia settled in our capital and entered the shores of repetitive ambient with his 2017 solo debut Music for Prophet. The mythical Prophet 08' synthesiser became his compass. For his upcoming performances, Mélia will present works from his forthcoming record Pièces Monophoniques. This series of monophonic sequences pays homage to simplicity and austerity in an era dominated by boundless digital resources

This concert is part of Club Night during our Opening Week 24-25. Keep an eye on this page for the full programme. A ticket to Club Night gives you access to all the concerts and shows, but please bear the limited capacity of our auditoria in mind.
