Born in Luxembourg of Italian descent, and currently sharing his time between Berlin and Brussels, it would be easy to dub Cleveland “the little prince of European house”. However, that would be to understate the sheer talent of Andra Mancini, as demonstrated on a series of releases (such as Atlas, on John Talabot’s Hivern Discs label). Venturing further and further from the deep house sound that characterised his early releases, Cleveland’s music is like a dreamy sonic journey that never loses sight of its final destination: the dancefloor.
