‘Christmas Concert’

The Belgian National Orchestra and BOZAR will enchant you and your family with a tingling animation film by the internationally renowned illustrator and animator Grégoire Pont. It promises to be a magical adventure for both children and adults. The starting point of the animated film is the suite Ma mère l'Oye by the French composer Maurice Ravel. This multi-part piece of music is based on the Fairy Tales of Ma mère l'Oye and tells stories such as Sleeping Beauty, Little Thumb and The Beauty and the Beast. Five instrumentalists of the Belgian National Orchestra will perform an arrangement of this enchanting music, assisted by the charismatic pianist and Queen Elisabeth Competition laureate: Eliane Rodrigues. A small ray of light & hope in these dark days.
