Due to illness the concert of Leif Ove Andsnes has been cancelled!!

Leif Ove Andsnes gave his first concerts in the Centre for Fine Arts more than twenty years ago. Since then he has built up an impressive international career, both as a soloist and as a chamber musician. All over the world, the Norwegian pianist is considered to be one of the greatest pianists of his day. His concerts constantly confirm this reputation. For this recital at BOZAR, work by Béla Bartók and Leoš Janaček is flanked with compositions by Schumann. The music of the two Central European composers, between romantic and modernity, puts Schumann’s work in a refreshing new light.
