13 Dec.'18

The concert has been Canceled!!!

Trust your senses

Nothing in the hands, nothing in the pockets. As an accomplished magician, the Belgian National Orchestra presents a new series of three concerts. « Trust your senses » offers performances of purely orchestral music of less than one hour. The perfect opportunity to discover classical music and its pleasures.
Why? You do not have to be Freud or Jung to know that Man is a being of habits. But it is nice to sometimes change these radically. Like the duration of the concert. Or the start time, to name just two things. These (shorter) concerts will start at 8:30 pm, giving you more time to enjoy a casual dinner or a drink before or after.
Of course, the artistic quality - regardless of the duration and time of the beginning - is and remains THE most important point.
The cycle therefore includes spectacular key works from orchestral literature. A stringed programming to ensure each listener to be blown away, regardless of his (un)knowledge of classical music.

This Thursday 13/12, we will have the pleasure of listening to Sweet Mendelssohn's dreams - Shakespeare in concert. On this occasion, Alexander Shelley will play The Dream of a Summer Night, the most famous opus of Mendelssohn.
