Seemingly tireless, Félix Bruzzone runs around the Campo de Mayo military base on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. The research and experiences of Bruzzone, a writer who lives near Campo de Mayo, form the basis of Jonathan Perel's film Camouflage. In the voice-over, Bruzzone explains what drives him: the military made his mother disappear when he was a little boy. Only after he bought a property near Campo de Mayo did he learn that his mother had also died there. What should happen to this wilderness where the military murdered their opponents 45 years ago? Bruzzone speaks to people from the area in a series of staged encounters, inventively exposing a very troubled history.
