During the renovation of Studio and Salle M, Bozar collaborates with the temporary cultural hub Reset to present a sequence of 10 concerts of electronic music. These sensory spectacles unfold within the intimate ambiance of Reset's Auditorium, reminiscent of 70s Scandinavian style architecture. Each time, an international artist shares the bill with a local must see.
After performing Other Rooms last year, Adriaan de Roover returns to Bozar with new work. The Brussels-based electronic musician has been forging a unique path in the genre for over a decade, releasing work on labels such as [PIAS], Dauw and Consouling. Expect weightless melodies, intriguing soundscapes and distinct textures. All this in conjunction with a light show by Max Adams.
Can a synthesiser sing? This is what Moritz von Oswald wonders on his latest album Silencio. One of the founding fathers of minimal techno, he collaborated with luminaries such as Jeff Mills and Juan Atkins and inspired numerous artists including Richie Hawtin and Thomas Brinkmann. For Silencio, von Oswald extracted choral music from new electronic compositions and wove live recordings of the chants through the electronics. In this way, von Oswald subtly explores the tensions and harmonies between voice and synths. In Reset, he presents a unique live version of his blistering album.
