​​​​​​​Fabien Leclercq a.k.a. Le Motel made his name as the beatmaker of Roméo Elvis, but has since walked broader paths. Together with post-rock guitarist Bruce Wijn, he released the EP MAAR in 2023, a collection of compacted soundscapes that lends itself perfectly to audiovisual live shows. Antoine De Schuyter's visuals take a deep dive into the ambient undulating on beats, but at the same time the music swims via software to the rhythm of the visuals.

Since the early 2000s, the Brit has been reanimating not only dreams but also hallucinations and nostalgic memories in his compositions. His latest album Models was described by Pitchfork as "like ghosts trying to communicate their unfinished business."
