Calidore String Quartet
EN Doré is French for ‘golden’, and it perfectly characterises the musical diversity of this American ensemble. The Calidore String Quartet was founded in Los Angeles in 2010 and performs refined music programmes with an impressive depth. The quartet builds a unique bridge between European music and American energy and joy. With its open spirit and endless curiosity for diverse musical genres the Calidore String Quartet has already won over hearts throughout the world. At BOZAR it will be focusing on the music of the Russians Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich.
