‘Besh o droM’

Founded in Budapest in 1999, the group's name expresses their artistic project as it means: "find your own path". A mix of music of multiple origins, their repertoire extends from the Balkans to Central Asia and includes gypsy, Jewish and Armenian influences. An eclecticism with great musical coherence that has been much appreciated far beyond the countries of South-East Europe as the band has had top 10 hits in the UK and entered the World Music Chart Europe's top 20. The secret? Besh O Drom have been formidably successful in incorporating the heritage of the Balkan musical traditions within a modern style as part of a dialogue with numerous other cultural heritages. No doubt about it,   Besh O Drom have certainly found their own path!
