‘Ben Frost’

The Iceland-based Australian musician, composer and producer returns to BEAF for the official presentation of his new album.
Frost is one of the most innovative contemporary artists when it comes to sound. His signature relies on heavy contrasts, where borders between harsh noise and analogue melodies are blurred.
Frost has released a body of work that delves into the vast palette of electronic music, contemporary classical minimalism and experimental rock. He has worked for dance and theatre creations, opera (Iain Banks' The Wasp Factory), film, documentary and TV show soundtracks, audio-visual installations (with Richard Mosse) and was mentored by Brian Eno.
