Christmas Concert

From 6 years old

Night falls over the Garden of Earthly Delights. Stars twinkle. High above a stable in Bethlehem, one shines brighter that all the others. With the birth of Christ, sent to deliver mankind from original sin, we arrive at the paradisical panel of the Garden of Earthly Delights.
The Paradise Play was performed on Christmas Eve until the Mediaeval Period. Symbols from Christmas tradition still make reference to the banishing of Adam and Eve from Paradise. “You may eat from all the trees in the garden, except for the tree of good and evil.” The glittering baubles symbolise the forbidden fruit whose temptation neither Adam nor Eve could resist, while the Christmas tree itself stands for the Tree of Paradise.
The magic of the Garden of Eden, where the animals speak and springtime is eternal, is brought back during our annual Christmas Concert. Bring your family and enjoy the sparkling melodies and enchanting light-heartedness of our Christmas Concert.
