The versatility of Hugh Wolff, the new musical director of the Belgian National Orchestra, is already apparent from his wide choice of repertoire. Today he has programmed the classical-romantic (Beethoven), the avant-garde of the interbellum (Ravel) and contemporary post-minimalism (Adams). Pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard is soloist.
