‘BELEM & FRIENDS’

For a few years now the BELEM duo, made up of Didier Laloy (diatonic accordion) and Kathy Adam (cello), has been taking audiences on a journey to its special universe in which chamber music flirts with traditional, European music styles. At BOZAR the concert is given some additional flavour thanks to the collaboration with friends such as the Baroque singer Nicolas Achten, the chamber music ensemble Quartz, and the Constantinople duo which blends sounds from East and West. Come to BOZAR for the first concert of their brand new tour BELEM & FRIENDS and travel from one side of the ocean to the other, through different eras and styles. In 2015 BELEM won the ‘Les octaves de la musique’ award in the ‘world music’ category.
