‘BEHIND THE TELESCOPES 6+’

Lavinia Meijer is a star. She has travelled the world as a harp player and performed on some of its biggest stages. In BEHIND THE TELESCOPES she takes us on a cinematic and musical adventure. Our starting point is Aimée de Jongh's film animation about the little girl called Lyra. She travels with NASA to the planet Mars in search of a better world in which she can live. A stirring story full of hope.

Lavinia Meijer joins sound designer Arthur Antoine to provide a live soundtrack for the film. She tells Lyra's story through compositions of her own and works by composers such as Philip Glass, Olafur Árnalds and Nils Frahm.
 

This performance is also the closing event of the FILEM'ON FESTIVAL.
