‘BAILATOCANDO’

At the BIG BANG Festival in Lisbon, we discovered two musicians who are so talented that we felt compelled to present them to our own audience. Their simple concert, for our youngest audience members, proves that all you need is magnificently played music to make your audience happy. And that is exactly what Eva Parmenter sets out to do on her melodeon, with her musical partner, Denys Stetsenko, on his violin.

Baitocando is a musical journey up and down Europe, which revisits traditional folk melodies. Eva and Denys perform mazurkas of water, polkas of air, tracing circles of earth and fire. Interpreting works from Italy, Scotland, France, Sweden and of course Portugal, their music will warm your heart and fuel your imagination.
