‘Avalanche Kaito’

This event is part of 'Disruptive Harmonies', a series of avant-garde concerts held in the newly refurbished Terarken hall. With Farida Amadou, Jlin and Avalanche Kaito. Three artists who are pushing back the boundaries of music through their unique point of view and innovative approach.​​​​​​​

An explosive mix described as “griot punk noise”. Singer Kaito Winse from Burkina Faso, guardian of the ancestral tradition of the griots, surrounds himself with two explosive musicians: drummer Benjamin Chaval, passionate about machines and ‘deconstructing’ sound, and anarcho-guitarist Nico Gitto. Since their discovery in Belgium in July 2021, the group has been received with great enthusiasm, spreading their experimental trance music on stages in Europe and Canada. During this concert, Avalanche Kaito will present a brand-new composition commissioned by Bozar as part of the Let's Zing Ensemble choral singing project. A world premiere not to be missed!
