‘Art Truc Troc & Design 2019’

On 1, 2 and 3 February, Bozar will host this flagship event at the beginning of the year, which spotlight barter, contemporary art and design, in collaboration with the Wolubilis Cultural Center - Curator for Plastic Arts.

This year, focus on the 5 senses! Come to meet art in all its forms through a unique sensory experience. Walk through an interactive exhibition where your senses will be increased or disoriented, attend live performances by our artists and express your creativity during creative workshops for young and old.

Last but not least, we invite you to an opening night on Friday nights, meetings with artists, and a Sunday morning breakfast.

What is Art Truc Troc & Design?

More than 300 works of close to a hundred buddings and established artists shall be showcased at Bozar. With paintings, photographs, sculptures, drawings, engravings, design, this is an occasion to discover the current Belgian artistic scene. 

Armed with their imagination and a few Post-it notes, the visitors are invited to trade with the artist in exchange for any piece of art that may attract their attention. Sunny holidays, the creation of a their website or private piano lessons... the only limit is the visitor’s imagination.These bizarre and unprecedented exchanges are the driving force behind Art Truc Troc & Design!

Opening on Friday, 1 February at 6pm, followed by the Opening Night at 9pm.
