‘Apnea - in the presence of Laetitia Casta’

Are You Series? presents the series UNE ILE at the Festival International du Film Francophone in Namur. It won Best French Series at this year’s Series Mania and the screening will take place in the presence of actress Laetitia Casta!

Chloé doesn’t really mix with the other youngsters on the island. As a child, she was found in a cave, and she suffers from not having known her parents. One day, when she lets herself be dragged along to a beach party, a boy forces her to kiss him. He becomes and remains unconscious. Meanwhile, out at sea, two fishermen have disappeared. In the hold of their boat they discover Théa, a beautiful and strange woman, who is calmly aware of her seductive power. Bruno, a cop sent in from the mainland, realises she has come to fetch Chloé. As an animal/human relationship plays out between the two women, love becomes dangerous… for both the men and the women.
