Adams, Clyne & Tchaikovsky
Anna Clyne is one of the most in-demand contemporary composers worldwide. Her track record includes collaborations with the world’s top orchestras, soloists, and choreographers. Commissioned by the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra and the Concertgebouw Orchestra, the American wrote a dazzling clarinet concerto for none other than world star Martin Fröst. Tchaikovsky’s peerless Fourth Symphony is known as his most autobiographical work: he wrote it at a personal low point (after a broken-down arranged marriage) and processed that pain into a symphony of unprecedented emotional depth. Together with chief conductor Elim Chan, the musicians of Antwerp Symphony provide symphonic fireworks.
