Beauty is created from a mixture of influences. For Antonio Segura, this goes without saying and flamenco, which stems from the encounter between gypsy, European and Mozarab cultures, is the finest illustration of this. For several years now, this Seville guitarist who trained with big names such as Isidoro Carmona, Mario Escudero, Pedro Escalona and Paquito Fernandez has been putting his talent to the service of Oleo: a project which is a blend of flamenco, jazz and world music. His new show explores the encounter between those styles and North African music. The guitar, oud and violin, supported by the bass guitar and percussion, give the line to the dancer Kuky Santiago, a Belgian bailaor trained in Seville, who has performed since the age of 6 years on our stage. Come and discover this show dedicated to the meeting of cultures and to the burning passion of flamenco!
