Antonio Lizana is one of the most celebrated representatives of the new flamenco jazz scene in southern Spain. As a jazz saxophonist and flamenco singer he has a unique ability to bring the two genres together. His distinctive approach has not gone unnoticed - in the past three years he has given more than 300 concerts in 30 countries and has worked with the likes of José Mercé, Snarky Puppy and Marcus Miller. At Bozar he will take you on a journey that begins with his roots close to Cádiz and that seamlessly develops to embrace jazz riffs.
