‘Anna Caterina Antonacci’

The Italian soprano Anna Caterina Antonacci invites you to musical wanderings that, from sunrise to sunset, evoke every possible shade of light. Antonacci, our guest in each of the last two seasons, in Fauré’s Pénélope and Poulenc’s La Voix humaine, returns to Brussels with her regular pianist, Donald Sulzen, and a string quartet. In this programme, she continues to explore her love of French and Italian music of the 19th and early 20th centuries, offering a fine counterpoint to Donizetti’s Don Pasquale and Ponchielli’s La Gioconda.
