In the context of the Korean Music Festival Brussels
The South Korean singer Ahn Sook-sun is one of the greatest pansori stars of our time. Pansori, a traditional Korean one-person opera, has been on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list since 2003. In this concert, Ahn Sook-sun performs part of the epic Heungbo-ga, using expressive singing and gesture to tell the tragicomic tale of two brothers, one good and one bad.
