- 20:00

Herman Van Rompuy, Paul Scheffer and Ivan Krastev debate on the future of Europe

As President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy met an impressive array of the world's top thinkers. In frank and nettling talks they expressed their fears and hopes for the European project at a time when the Eurozone Crisis was creating a storm. At the President's request these thinkers put their thoughts and solutions to paper, which has resulted in the essential book entitled After the Storm. On 28 October Van Rompuy presents his book at BOZAR and discusses the future of Europe with political thinker Ivan Krastev, publicist Paul Scheffer, philosopher Philippe Van Parijs and historian-philosopher Luuk van Middelaar, Van Rompuy's former speechwriter.
