BOZAR was deeply saddened to learn of the death of the British conductor and violinist Sir Neville Marriner, a true icon of classical music.
In accordance with the wishes of Sir Neville Marriner, the concert of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields of 10 October will go ahead. The programme will remain unchanged.
Out of respect for the void which the conductor’ death has left, we have decided that his place should remain unoccupied. The orchestra will be led by Concertmaster Tomo Keller.
This concert will be dedicated to the memory of Sir Neville Marriner.
