‘20:00 ORGAN & PERCUSSION’

14 Sept.'19
- 20:00

Once the opening concert has whetted appetites, the Henry Le Boeuf Hall sets the stage for an exciting confrontation between organ and percussion! The elite Spanish organist Daniel Oyarzabal and his fellow-countryman, percussionist Eloy Lurueña will pleasantly surprise you with some playful arrangements of classics for this bold combination of instruments. The programme will include the fiery Mars from The Planets by Gustav Holst, several portraits from Mussorgsky’s masterful Pictures at an Exhibition and romantic excerpts from Prokofiev’s ballet Romeo and Juliet.
