‘19:00 ORGAN & CHOIR’

For the opening concert, Vocaal Ensemble Reflection, a choir composed of professionals, conservatory students and talented amateurs, joins forces with the in-demand organist Luc Ponet. Together they will bring to life the greatest organ and choral pieces from Felix Mendelssohn-Barthodly and Ralph Vaughan Williams to Flor Peeters and Arvo Pärt. In a varied programme that fluctuates between intimacy and exuberance, they will bear witness to the fact that the organ has lost none of its expressive power.
