During the renovation of Studio and Salle M, Bozar collaborates with the temporary cultural hub Reset to present a sequence of 10 concerts of electronic music. These sensory spectacles unfold within the intimate ambiance of Reset's Auditorium, reminiscent of 70s Scandinavian style architecture. Each time, an international artist shares the bill with a local must see.
Mélodie Blaison is a French artist and composer based in Brussels. Her work explores musical sounds, voice, breath, and water as mediums of connection. She uses her electroacoustic compositions to evoke immersive, narrative, and sensory experiences. Through sacred mists and forgotten poets, her music unfolds as an introspective space, where field recordings, sensual drones, and continuous flute breaths converge. Deeply evocative, her sonic landscapes blur memory and dream. Avant le Rivage, released in 2024 by Wabi-Sabi, follows VINTVRI (2022, Grande Rousse Disques), further expanding her unique language.
London’s Loraine James, under her alias Whatever The Weather, explores introspective, impressionistic electronic music. On Whatever The Weather II, she blends hypnotic ambience, mottled rhythms, and diaristic field recordings into textured soundscapes. Unlike her Hyperdub releases, this project focuses on instinctive, hardware-driven improvisation. Each track, named by its “emotional temperature,” reflects shifting moods and environments. Mastered by Josh Eustis (Telefon Tel Aviv), the album moves from static-laden vocals to glitchy percussion and ambient warmth. James’s fearless sonic collages and spontaneous compositions create a uniquely fractured, organic beauty.
